In the year of 2010 we also succeeded in qualifying as a „Certified Business Hotels“. Here hotels are tested in respect of the conformity with the needs of business travellers. We are proud to meet these specific requirements in this excessive way.

In 2009 the DEHOGA awarded us with the 4th star. This reflects our commitment to remaining the „gudd stubb of Hendesse“ (best room of Handschuhsheim). It is remarkable that we are the 3rd smallest 4 star hotel hotel within the area of application.

In 2008 we participated in the project „sustainable business development“ as the first and up to date only hotel. After the successful qualification we installed an photovoltaic device which allows us to generate the basic electricity needs by ourselves. Further usage of sustainable energy has been forbidden by the city of Heidelberg due to totally misunderstood protection of historical monuments.
